The cost of the race is estimated to be £60,000 so sponsorship
is desperately needed. The race itself will be incredibly hard but there is a
lot of truth in the old adage that says the hardest part is actually getting to
the start line. This is a great sponsorship opportunity for companies as it is
such a high profile event, so if anyone would like to have their logo on the
boat or be involved in helping out with some sponsorship, no matter how small it
may be, Paul and Steve will be eternally grateful and do whatever they can to
raise the profile of each and every sponsor. The names of all sponsors will be

Paul, a 44 year old technician with Western Power Distribution,
and Steve, a 49 year old contacts manager with Wombwell
Homes, will be raising money for Cornwall
Hospice Care, a charity created by the merger of St Julia's Hospice
in Hayle and Mount Edgcumbe in Austell, which provides specialist palliative
care to people throughout Cornwall who are terminally ill.
